Full speed ahead for a senior housing project in Millington. Millington Village will consist of 52 senior living units — nine buildings in all — on two of the six parcels that make up what was once Millington Elementary School, a 24-acre site that the town purchased for $1 from Kent County in December 2022.
The tentative completion date is this fall, with occupancy in January 2026. Most of the funding has come from state agencies, such as the Community Development Block Grant Program, Rural Maryland Economic Development Fund and the Department of Housing and Community Development.
