On Tuesday, May 20, legislation to adopt amendments to a licensing process for fox hunting club dog kennels was unanimously approved by the Kent County Commissioners. Kent County News reports it will be a step towards enabling The Wicomico Hunt Club to eventually relocate 30 fox hunting hounds to a 20 acre farm currently prohibited from housing more than five dogs since it is located in a Reservation Conservation District.
This approved licensing process green lit the commissioners to approve of a separate text amendment the Club requested earlier in the year that granted permission for the hounds on the property.
