An investigation into a reported assault in the 21000 block of Woods Edge Drive in Chestertown, has led to the arrest of a 32-year-old man. Eastern Shore Undercover reports deputies responded to the residence after receiving a call about an ongoing assault. Upon arrival, screaming was heard from inside the home.
Following an investigation, Montrail Cortez Montgomery Jr. was arrested. He was subsequently charged with first-degree assault, along with additional offenses. In addition to the assault charges, Montgomery was served with multiple outstanding warrants.
