For the second time in three days, a deadly crash occurred at the intersection of U.S. Route 301 and Price Station Road (MD 405), a corridor long plagued by collisions. The Bay Times and Record Observer reports the most recent crash happened around 12:26 p.m. Thursday, July 24, and involved two vehicles. Initial reports indicate one person was able to extricate themselves, while two others were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and the passenger of a Toyota Camry, identified as Valerie Haines, 63, and Patricia Mead, 86, of Ridgley, were pronounced dead at the scene.
