An adult female was transported to the hospital in Chestertown for treatment of injuries sustained in what officials described as a “vehicle fire” on Friday afternoon, April 11. According to a news release from the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal, the injuries were not life-threatening. The Evening Enterprise reports the occupant of a Sunline Solaris camper trailer, identified in the news release as Dawn Reed, discovered the fire at 2:18 p.m. in the 100-block of Dogwood Court in Queen Anne’s County. Reed was sleeping inside the camper trailer when one of her pet dogs alerted her to the fire.
