A man in Rock Hall suffered burns to both hands and his face while removing a fire-engulfed chair from a shed on Saturday night, March 1. He was airlifted by a Maryland State Police helicopter to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, according to a news release from the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
The incident occurred in the 21000-block of Harrington Park Road when John Murphy, discovered a chair on fire inside a 12×16-foot shed at 10:22 p.m. The fire’s cause is under investigation.
