Kent County Narcotics Task Force Seize Fentanyl, Cocaine, Handgun

A series of anonymous tips combined with the work of allied agencies led the Kent County Narcotics Task Force in making arrests removing a quantity of Fentanyl and cocaine from potential distribution.
According to a Kent County Narcotics Task Force press release, 23.5 grams of suspected Fentanyl in the form of 40 gel capsules, 17 grams of suspected cocaine, a 9 mm handgun with 11 live rounds of ammunition and $330 were seized from a vehicle by law enforcement after pursuit in the area of Quaker Neck and Pomona Road on Sept. 16. Police said patrol units from the Chestertown Police Department and it’s K-9 unit, Maryland State Police K-9 unit, Kent County Sheriff’s Office and a Maryland State Police Aviation Unit helicopter were involved in detaining the three fleeing individuals, Brian Emory Gross, Ninoshka Marie Colon and De’Airres Tyler Somerville.
