Queen Anne’s County Library has been expanding efforts to get more services to incarcerated individuals at Queen Anne’s County Detention Center. This project, funded by an $11,000 grant from the Library Services and Technology Act. Since September 2023, when the first order was submitted, the library has delivered approximately 650 new books, replacing a large portion of the outdated and worn-out collection. Those in the facility are able to visit the library once a week, checking out three books each week.
